Big Burnley Walk 2025 and Beat the Street Kick Off
Join us in Offshoots Community Garden where we’ll be joining forces with the Big Burnley Walk to launch Beat the Street! We’ll be discovering some of the stunning footpaths in the borough with the family route, which will be taking in lots of local Beat Boxes. It’s the perfect chance to earn points and celebrate the start of the game! The family led Beat the Street walk will leave at 10.15am with registration opening at 8.50am.
As part of the Big Burnley Walk, there are 3 routes to explore of varying lengths to ensure everyone can take part.
In addition around Towneley on the day we will have a few extra activities for families:
- Hodman & Sally – Puppet explorer duo bringing stories and laughs to those they encounter.
- Fun and Games on the rear lawn - 11am-1pm. Find out more about Park Play
- Burnley Hedgehog Crafting in Towneley Hall – 9am -12pm.
- Hedgehog bread making - 11am - 1pm
- Create your own Clay Hedgehog (whilst materials last) with Friends of Towneley Park 11am-1pm.
- Meet Beattie, the Beat the Street Mascot - 9.30am - 10.30am and throughout the day.
